The Big Blue Bear
No visit to Denver is complete without a photo of the peeping big blue bear. From VisitDenver.com:
The 40-foot high bear, which injects a welcome sense of fun and playfulness into the convention center experience, is the creation of local artist Lawrence Argent. It was installed just a few years ago in 2005, but has quickly become a bona fide Mile High icon – and a can’t-miss photo op for tourists and locals alike.
Located at the Convention Center, this guys is just a short walk south of the 16th St. Mall.

That is too cute! What a great idea! I wonder what it looks like from the inside? Is the bear smiling? Is the bear hungry? Does the bear even have a face?

I will have to take a photo from the inside and let you see for yourself! Any excuse to photograph the big blue bear … and walk around during lunch!
