If you have visited a brewery before, then the information here is probably nothing new. However, they do provide ample free beer at Coors. Upon arrival you park in a parking lot outside the brewery then take a tour bus around Golden. The guides give you a little history about Golden, CO and the brewery. When you arrive at the brewery you are given a headset and a wristband if you are over 21. The tour is completely self-guided so take your time. The commentary was actually very interesting without much repetition like some headset tours are. You are given one small cup of beer in the middle of the tour then 3 free beers at the end. The entire tour will probably take you about an hour.
The Coors tour is great–although it’s been almost 20 years since I’ve been there. New Belgium’s brewery in Fort Collins is great, too, and maybe a little more lively than Coors.
