These cute elephants can be seen having fun at the annual Denver Zoo Lights Festival. The entire zoo is decked from top to bottom is colorful displays of magic, including these elephants playing the water. It is one of many Christmas events going on in Denver. Kids line the streets today for a chilly field trip at the Christkindl market

…Can be seen on the side of a bull. This is one of several artistic bulls that line the streets of Denver. Random facts and images of the state are tattooed all over the body of the bull.

A merry-go-round at the marketplace.  Big Kids get to shop while the Kiddies get to play.

Shoppers continue to browse the market place in Downtown Denver.

Christkindlis a marketplace in Downtown that hosts vendors from European nations. From the Denver Mile High Holiday’ssite:

This year the Denver Christkindl Market will once again host vendors from Germany and other European countries who offer quality, hand-carved wooden figurines, handmade candles, and ornaments. Traditional German food, pastries, and candy as well as authentic German beer and Gluhwein will be featured.

The market can be found on the corner of Arapahoe and 16th St. in Denver.

Last night I got to attend my very first NBA game with my boyfriend, compliments of my boss. Denver is home to the Nuggets, the team just happens to be my favorite in the NBA. The game started slow with Denver behind but after half-time Anthony came out blazing and scored 33 points in the third quarter. Overall, a very good night and excellent game.

The snow storm that left rough driving conditions in Denver the day before yesterday can still be seen around the city. This is one of the many flower pots along the 16th St. Mall that still has flowers struggling to stay alive.
