Etched on the steps of the State Capitol

They don’t call Denver the Mile High City for nothing. If you are standing on the 13th step of the State Capitol building, you will be exactly one mile above sea level.

3. Hahaha…no. This photo was taken in July thus the summer clothing. I have 5 inches of snow on the ground today. We haven’t been in shorts and sandals in months.
